Just a wee note - i've put some things into my Etsy shop which I haven't done for ages. There's a suede Elizabethan inspired collar and some brooches of varying price.
I'm hoping to do this a bit more often in future - as often as time will allow. I had hoped to pull off a sculptured brooch of my own making (it was to be a a feather) but the materials I used just weren't hard enough and the poor thing crumbled. I'll keep trying though because I like the idea...and well, I want a feather brooch.
Otherwise things are coming along well - setbacks are now lessening as I struggle onwards with the paintings. I'm finally finding paper really quite wonderful to work on - now that the horror of 'no mistakes' has revised many of my working habits.
I hope you're all well x

If you hadn't read the news on my other blog, then my Etsy store is reopened with a difference! Hurray!
From now on i'm primarily selling download-able, print-your-own toys through there. And my prints are sold via my Society6 store.
As a celebration of this change of direction, i'm offering Mr Mystical Cowboy for free. Just click this link
All you need to construct him is some small scissors (or a scalpel), a few small brads and either a small hole punch or be very patient with your small scissors!
The jumping jacks in my shop are packaged with instructions, I just haven't got round to it with this fella.

It's called 'The fox confessor', after the Neko Case song. I was only just introduced to her by a good freind and am now obsessively smitten. She happens to be playing in Glasgow in September, and I may have to go.
The painting was made under the influence of her and also Kate Bush's 'Aerial' album (Also from the same freind - I scoffed when they said it was her best album, how wrong was I?)
